  • Hello

With the 35th Anniversary of the controversial 1981 Springbok Tour of New Zealand upon us I believe your membership may be interested in the documentary “Try Revolution”. The film explores how sporting links and specifically Rugby was used to challenge the Apartheid regime. It is used as a teaching resource in New Zealand (history and social studies) and I’m certain it would be a useful tool for South African teachers too.

I wonder if you could help us bring it to the attention of South African History teachers?

The film can be easily screened off vimeo (see the trailer there too)>

    Thank you!
